Catalonia have 1000 years of
History, during middle ages consolidates its expansion. The Catalan
nation was be attacked by bourbon troops from 1707 to 1715, losing all
the sovereignty and transferring all political power to Madrid. In 1808
Spain is consolidated like a only one state, with only one king: Jose I
Bonaparte, the first King of Spain.
In 2010 the Constitutional Court of Spain declared that Catalonia was not a Nation. Now, the only way to recognize ourselves in the world as a nation is through independence.
